The Birth of the Libby Bird

Do what makes your heart sing!

My mother, Libby, passed away in 2022 but if you talk to anyone that knew her, they’d tell you how even a chance encounter with her made their day brighter.

She lit up the room with her beautiful smile, but more importantly, she took a sincere interest in everyone she knew and met.

She always offered encouraging words and unique compliments, making you feel special! She was truly one of a kind.

I think we could all benefit from this! On days that seem overwhelming, I try to remember my mom’s spirit.

She often ended her correspondence with, “Do what makes your heart sing”.

So, I created a Libby Bird Template to spread this simple yet powerful message.

You might have seen, or even made, little fabric hearts or painted rocks left for others to find.

I thought maybe the Libby Bird would work for this, too.

These days, one simple act could make such a difference!

It’s so easy to do something for someone that’s not expected.

It can brighten their day and yours, too!
